November is all about the anticipation before the biggest holiday of the month (maybe even the year), Thanksgiving! Scouring the internet for recipes can be a daunting task filled with never-ending scrolling and complicated how-tos, but we’re here to help! We’ve highlighted some of our favorite wholesome dishes for Thanksgiving and the next day, too!
Traditional Green Bean Casserole
Some things are classics for a reason! Save room for our delicious Green Bean Casserole recipe this year! This traditional Thanksgiving side is made tastier by using our organic Cut Green Beans, baked in a deep pan or skillet, and topped with fried onions (and lots of ‘em). Be sure to keep it warm! This dish is best served hot.
Sweet Corn Gazpacho
Sweet Corn Gazpacho is the perfect accompaniment to any Thanksgiving table. On top of being delicious and nutritious, this recipe is easy to whip up! Make this sweet dish using Green Valley’s Whole Kernel Corn, chopped yellow tomatoes, seeded yellow bell peppers, and a few more simple ingredients. Our favorite part? It only takes 10 minutes to make!
Good ‘Ol Pumpkin Pie
You can’t go wrong with a Thanksgiving staple! Our easy Pumpkin Pie recipe will be sure to please this holiday season (who knows, maybe you’ll even add it to your book of secret family recipes)! Using Green Valley’s organic Pumpkin Puree, this recipe is a foolproof, wholesome dessert that is sure to have everyone coming around for seconds. Make this recipe your own by serving with whipped cream, vanilla ice cream, or even some graham cracker crumble!
Pinto Bean Chilaquiles
Is there anything better than Thanksgiving? Agreed! This year, spice things up with Pinto Bean Chilaquiles! Using our Organic Pinto Beans, some corn tortillas, a little shredded cheese, and if you dare, a dash of hot sauce – you will surely please a crowd. Chilaquiles are a great way to use up the leftovers from the day before – turkey, chicken, pork, roasted veggies, and more. Hot tip: tortillas work best here if they’re a little stale.
Vegan Casserole
This one’s for the vegans! Bring this versatile Vegan Casserole to your Friendsgiving, family Thanksgiving, or any way you celebrate the holiday, this year. Organic Green Valley Peas help bring this dish to life along with soy curls, tempeh, or even seitan. Not a fan of the veggies in the recipe? Swap with Green Valley’s selection of corn, green beans, and more in their place! Elevate this casserole by garnishing with cranberries and/or pecans.
