Cook Time:

Serves: 6

Ingredients

  • 1 store-bought pie crust

  • 6 large eggs

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt

  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground pepper

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 cup diced cooked ham

  • 1 can (15 ounces) Green Valley Organic Peas, drained

  • 3 green onions, thinly sliced

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven: Set the oven to 375°F.

  2. Prepare the crust: Unroll the pie crust and fit it into a 9-inch pie plate. Crimp the edges decoratively or press down with a fork to seal.

  3. Make the egg mixture: In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper until smooth.

  4. Assemble the quiche: Sprinkle half of the cheddar cheese evenly over the bottom of the pie crust. Add the diced ham, Green Valley Organic Peas, and green onions. Pour the egg mixture over the filling, then sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.

  5. Bake: Place the quiche on the center rack and bake for 40–45 minutes, until the center is just set and the top is lightly golden.

  6. Cool and serve: Let the quiche cool for at least 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm or at room temperature.
