  • 1¼ lbs. ground turkey or chicken

  • 1 medium onion chopped (about 1½ cups)

  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped

  • 1 jalapeno, chopped

  • 2 15-ounce cans diced tomatoes with green chiles

  • 1 15-ounce can chicken broth

  • 1 8-ounce can tomato sauce

  • 1½ tablespoons chili powder

  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin

  • ¾ teaspoon ground paprika

  • ¼ teaspoon dried oregano

  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

  • 1 15-ounce can organic Green Valley Whole Kernel Corn, drained

  • 1 15-ounce can organic Green Valley Black Beans, drained and rinsed

  • 1 15-ounce can organic Green Valley Pinto Beans, drained and rinsed

  • Toppings

  • Shredded cheese, chopped green onions, cilantro, diced avocados and tortilla strips/chips


  1. Cook ground turkey in a large pot along with chopped onion, crumbling and stirring occasionally until browned.

  2. dd jalapeno and garlic during last few minutes of browning.

  3. Stir in tomatoes with chiles, chicken broth, tomato sauce, chili powder, cumin, paprika, oregano and season with salt and pepper to taste.

  4. Cover pot with lid and simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  5. Add in corn, black beans and pinto beans and cook until heated through.

  6. Serve warm topped with desired toppings.
